Frankfurt, 1 August 2019 – The Silverton Group (Silverton), Frankfurt, has expanded its team in North Rhine-Westphalia by appointing Georg Strohmaier, 31, as the new Manager Real Estate Transactions.
Strohmaier, a qualified real estate economist (IRE|BS) based in the Essen office that opened in April 2019, will be mainly responsible for identifying investment opportunities and sourcing suitable value-added properties in North Rhine-Westphalia. He will also facilitate transaction processes and reports to Sebastian Steinert, who has headed Silverton’s NRW branch since it opened.
Prior to joining Silverton, Georg Strohmaier was a member of Avison Young’s Dusseldorf investment team, where his main focus was on office investments in North Rhine-Westphalia.

In addition to investment management and asset management of commercial property and loans secured on real estate, the range of services provided by the Silverton Group includes; consultancy services for transaction and implementation in the areas of special situations, distressed debt and real estate; risk advisory services; and banking consultancy.
Silverton is one of the few loan servicers in Germany to be granted authorisation to provide payment services (Zahlungslizenz) by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). The company has offices in Essen, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, and New York.
Silverton currently has 400 million Euro of assets under management in the real estate sector.
